History of Knivesandtools
We started our webshop for knives and multi-tools in 1999; the pioneering time for online shops. Back then, we had to send a parcel containing the invoice, hoping to get paid.
We started as a Dutch website, but our English website followed quickly. Then a German one. Then our French domain. After that, Spanish and Italian. Currently, Knivesandtools consists of eleven webshops, active in nine countries, in six different languages. To this day, we are still growing.
Our range
We might have started selling pocket knives and multi-tools, but we quickly added more product types. We added kitchen knives, binoculars, torches and sharpening tools. Today, Knivesandtools has the largest range of sharpening tools in Europe!
Within our niche, we have an incredibly comprehesive range. From world-famous brands to exclusive and special products that will surprise even the biggest of fans. From day one, we've stuck to our core value: we only sell high-quality products. Products that genuinely make us happy.

Company culture
Knivesandtools has a flat organizational structure. There are no managers or supervisors; we expect you to feel responsible for your own work. We value transparency, curiosity and ambition. Everyone at Knivesandtools is friendly and approachable. No ivory towers in sight, everyone eats lunch at the same tables. The average age is 34 years and our workforce is very international: our employees represent 16 different countries.
