A dynamic job where you work with a substantial advertising budget, focusing on generating profitable revenue.
Job description
About Knivesandtools
Knivesandtools / KATO Group is a leading European e-commerce player that started in 1999 with a clear mission: "Elevate everyday adventures with Next Level Gear." From our headquarters in Apeldoorn, we serve a fanbase in 15 countries with a carefully curated assortment and inspiring (online and offline) customer experience.
To accelerate our growth and further strengthen our brand identity, we are looking for a driven SEA Marketer to manage and develop our (advertising) campaigns. We seek someone with several years of experience in SEA and accustomed to working with substantial advertising budgets. You understand the field well, can guide junior employees, and are a sparring partner for colleagues from other disciplines.
What you will do:
Together with a fellow SEA marketer, you will develop, implement, and optimize SEA strategies/campaigns to increase online visibility, attract relevant visitors, and maximize (profitable) revenue through paid channels such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and price comparison sites. You will work closely with content marketers and translators to shape the campaigns. Weekly, you will participate in stand-ups and commercial meetings where you briefly discuss ongoing matters with your colleagues. Then, you will tackle a combination of recurring and project-based tasks, such as:
Monitoring various KPIs
Managing and creating campaigns
Optimizing our different advertising channels
Trying out new advertising channels
Our marketing department is divided into several sub-departments, with the SEA team being one of them. All teams are self-managing and have their own planning. Naturally, there is continuous collaboration on overarching projects. We value quality and do as much as possible in-house, including SEO, content creation, photography, video, advertising, IT, translation, and design.
Job requirements
What competencies do you need?
You are someone who understands the online marketing game well. You consciously choose to work on the client side, not the agency side: quality over speed, and you take the time to achieve maximum return. You have plenty of room for your own input and can really delve into your work. You are not limited to a few hours per week per campaign. You turn this freedom into good ideas and projects. The ideal candidate fits into our team of young, open, and ambitious people.
You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working.
You have 4+ years of experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics.
You have extensive knowledge of Google Analytics and Excel.
You think analytically and work data-driven.
Excellent command of Dutch and/or English.
Preferred: Experience with Google policy regulations.
Preferred: Experience advertising in English, German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
Preferred: Experience with product feed management.
Preferred: Experience with marketplaces and affiliates.
What we offer:
You will join a group of (international) specialists within the 'search engine marketing' team.
You will be responsible for an impressive annual advertising budget.
You will work with state-of-the-art software.
You have the freedom for many initiatives, such as developing new advertising channels.
You have the opportunity to gain and embed additional knowledge within the team.
A challenging role within a dynamic and ambitious company with a young group of professionals.
A competitive salary and good secondary benefits.
Discount on our products (20%) and fun company events.
Better coffee than the average trendy coffee shop.
A chef who provides a delicious lunch four times a week.
Excited? Please send us your CV with a clear motivation on why you should be our future colleague.
