What will you do?
As an SEO Specialist, you are responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy to further increase the impact of SEO within the organization.
You maintain an overview and create initiatives across all areas of SEO (technical, on-site, off-site), knowing exactly what is needed to achieve the SEO objectives. You stay up to date with the latest news and best practices, provide our five content marketers and two SEO content specialists with the right insights, and work together to further develop SEO within the organization.

You’ll be part of a young and ambitious team eager to improve the findability and visibility of our websites internationally and achieve sustainable higher rankings.

As an SEO Specialist, you also monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of the channel across all our countries and share insights with relevant stakeholders within the organization. You are the go-to person for colleagues, create an SEO roadmap and facilitate the content creation process within the organization.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Developing and/or implementing international strategies/plans: This includes creating effective and/or innovative international SEO strategies to achieve our goals.

  • Managing content planning, creation, and/or optimization processes: You play a key role in our content creation process. From an SEO perspective, you determine what content needs to be created—by both our SEO Content Specialists and Content Marketers. This includes commercial angles (categories, brands) as well as market trends, news topics, and seasonal content.

  • Analyzing and reporting performance: You analyze and monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, SE Ranking, GA4, and Ahrefs, and translate data into concrete improvements/recommendations to maintain or improve our organic positions in key search engines.

  • SEO Optimization: You define necessary action points, implement and coordinate on-page and off-page SEO activities, conduct in-depth keyword research, and perform technical SEO audits.

  • Collaborating with other disciplines: You work with category managers, content creators, developers, and marketers to integrate (the latest) SEO techniques and data-driven insights into our websites.

Job requirements

Which skills do I need for this job?

  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of SEO.

  • You have a broad vision of SEO, possess strong knowledge of the latest best practices, and can translate this into a clear SEO strategy.

  • You are proactive, eager to learn, and driven to achieve growth.

  • You have experience with tools such as Ahrefs, GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.

  • You are capable of translating the latest news and best practices into concrete SEO projects.

  • You have strong knowledge of content creation and optimization, and can think tactically about the associated processes.

  • You are data-driven, analytical, results-oriented, and have a structured and professional work ethic.

  • You are proactive, think strategically, communicate effectively, and have a passion for customer experience and quality products.

  • Excellent level of both Dutch and English language.

  • Bonus: Experience with JIRA.

  • Bonus: Experience with international SEO.
