Are you an Email Automation Marketer who gets energy from customer data, smart flows and measurable impact? Do you want to build retention campaigns that inspire customers, help them and bring them back? Then this is your chance.
The challenge
Within KATO Group, you will be responsible for further developing our e-mail automation and retention. The foundation is in place, the tooling has been renewed and with Klaviyo and Spotler Activate we have many more possibilities than before. Now we are looking for someone who can turn those possibilities into concrete impact.
You will not be entering an empty field, but there is still a lot to gain. There is historical data, there are plenty of ideas and our customers buy products that they often enjoy for years. That is exactly where your challenge lies: making sure that customers receive relevant content after purchase, use their products better and are inspired again at the right moment.
You will work at the intersection of e-mail marketing, data, content and retention. You will have room to further shape the role yourself, based on your experience and where you can make the most impact.
What you will do
Set up, improve and optimize e-mail flows in Klaviyo and Spotler Activate
Build smart segmentations based on customer data, behavior and interests
Further develop our retention strategy
Help customers after purchase with relevant content about use, maintenance and inspiration
Make sure customers receive the right message at the right moment
Analyze performance and continuously improve campaigns and flows
Test ideas, including with A/B tests and customer segments
Work together with content marketers, translators, photography, video and other marketing specialists
Contribute ideas about the role of e-mail within the broader customer journey
Regular newsletters primarily fall under the content team. You mainly focus on automation, retention and smart customer communication. Of course, you will contribute to strategy and opportunities when your insights make the difference.

Job requirements
What you bring
HBO level of professional and intellectual ability
At least 2 years of experience with e-mail marketing, marketing automation or CRM marketing
Experience setting up or optimizing automated e-mail flows
You think analytically and work in a data-driven way
You can translate customer data into concrete actions and campaigns
You have a commercial mindset and can think well from the customer’s perspective
You have a good command of the English language
You like working from a sense of ownership and take initiative
In addition, it is a plus if you have experience withKlaviyo
Spotler Activate or comparable marketing automation tooling
Segmentation based on customer behavior
Retention marketing or CRM marketing
Google Analytics
